GRAPHIC PHOTOS: Armed Robber Burnt To Death In Benue

 An armed bank robber who fell into the hands of angry villagers has been burnt to death when at Oju in Vandeiky local government area of Benue State. Reports have it that some gunmen, numbering about 20, had stormed the First Bank Branch in Vandeikya local government area of the state armed with dangerous weapons. In the operations that lasted several hours, the robbers ransacked the bank, carting away with huge sums of money and also killed several people in the process. But  were confronted by the police in the area and a fierce gun battle ensued and in the process as they were trying to escape.
The robbers get away vehicle veered off the road, somersaulted several times and landed in the bush. It was gathered that many of the robbers who had serious bullet wounds managed to escape, one of them was not so lucky as he was apprehended by the villagers and was instantly set ablaze.
