Man ‘caught performing sex act on woman’s corpse in mortuary’

A homeless man was caught performing a sex act on a woman’s corpse in a mortuary, police said.

Domonique Smith, 26, was arrested and charged with stealing a bicycle from Hill Watson Peoples Funeral Service in Columbus, Georgia.

And police said that during the investigation they found evidence the man had sexual contact with the body of a woman in the funeral home’s mortuary, reports the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer.

‘The investigation led us to believe he had a Sexual act with body of the woman,’ said Captain Gordon Griswould, who added he could not remember the last time there was a necrophilia charge in the area.

‘This is extremely rare.’

Cedric Hill, funeral director at the home, declined to discuss details.

‘We look for the best protection and security for the families we have served in this community for 65 years,’ he told the Ledger-Enquirer.
Meanwhile Smith pleaded guilty to all charges!
