I don't know how true this report from mediaTakeOut.com  is because they not to be trusted most times.

They reporting Beyonce LEFT the main area of ROC nation pre grammy  and went to a discreet private area never saying ONE WORD to Rihanna.
It was learned they (Beyonce and Jay Z) were together for the Roc Sports Brnch greeting everyone until words got around that RIHANNA was on her way when the mood suddenly changed.

Of course reasons not known but its alleged it's not far from the all the rumors about Jay and Rihanna F*CKING IN THE PAST.
Three Six Zero hosted the exclusive pre-Grammy brunch at a private residence in the Hollywood Hills. Guests were treated to a Comador cigar bar, and enjoyed catering by sbe events and specialty cocktails by D’USSE.
The event also marked the first time Armand de Brignac (“Ace of Spades”) Champagne was featured and served to guests with Shawn “JAY Z” Carter as the owner.
He announced his purchase of the luxury spirits brand early this year, whose gold bottle he helped made iconic in his video “Show Me What You Got.”
