Washington "deeply disappointed" by Nigeria's decision to delay the elections

Seems as the election dates shift doesn't favor anybody both within and outside of Nigeria as the United states has also expressed it displeasure in the postponement.
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has said in a statement Washington "deeply disappointed" by Nigeria's decision to delay the election.
"Political interference with the Independent National Electoral Commission is unacceptable, and it is critical that the government not use security concerns as a pretext for impeding the democratic process," Kerry said.
The US said the international community would be watching closely as the Nigerian government prepares for elections on the newly scheduled dates.
