The oil marketers have suspended their strike and embarked on immediate lifting of fuel across the country.
The marketers also pledged to make fuel available across the country within six hours.
The decision followed the intervention of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream led by Senator Magnus Abe.
The Abe Committee brokered a truce between the Federal Government and the marketers.
An agreement pledging to pay the outstanding claims of the marketers was signed on behalf of the government by the Finance Minister, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
It was also agreed that the licence of marketers who refuse to lift fuel within six hours should be revoked.
