Another trekker 46,yesterday,27th May, arrived Abuja in wrapper. David Adjarho who started his journey on May 2nd from Lagos stadium to Abuja,to promote wrapper marathon in Nigeria as well as witness the inauguration ceremony.
The trekker who wore a 15-yard Ankara material said:

“I have been the only man involved in wrapper marathon in the world and if embraced in Nigeria, the competition will attract revenue and investment into the tourism sector. I started this walk on May 6 from the National Stadium, Lagos and here I am now in Abuja on May 27.’’
Speaking on his awareness, the trekker said wrapper marathon was aimed at promoting the use of wrapper in marathons instead of wearing the conventional Jaycees.
Adjarho said he hoped to promote a N500 million fund raiser for five Non-Governmental Organisations in the country.
He listed the NGOs as Beach Samaritan; Active 8; Government College, Ughelli old Boys Association; 3-1 equal 2 and the Biggest Food Library in Nigeria.
