26-year-old Houseboy To Die By Hanging After Killing Former Boss For Sacking Him

David Idah, pictured above is the houseboy of a retired Chief Magistrate, Funmilola Timeyin whom he killed in her residence at Laderin Estate in Abeokuta on March 28th 2014 for sacking him.

The 26-year-old houseboy, has been sentenced to death by hanging by an Ogun State High Court in Abeokuta.
Justice Abiodun Akinyemi on Wednesday sentenced the accused, who hails from Benue State and worked as a domestic aide for the late senior magistrate, to death by hanging.

He said,

“Having been found guilty on a one count of unlawful killing, you are hereby sentenced to death by hanging.”

The domestic aide had on March 28, 2014, killed the 65-year-old Timeyin at her residence in Laderin Housing Estate, Abeokuta, by hacking her with machete before slaughtering her at about 3pm.
Idah had been sacked by Timeyin after he was caught stealing.
