Accident Involving Peugeot J5 and Volkswagen Golf Claims Four In Kaduna

An accident involving a Volkswagen Golf car with registration number AE341YAD carrying four people and a Peugeot J5 carrying perishable goods ‎has claimed the lives of four person in Kaduna.

The accident which occurred around 8pm on July 4th in Wuroko village in Saminaka local government of Kaduna state ‎lead to the death of four people including two male adult, one female adult and one female child.
According to Daily Trust the victims were coming from Kaduna where the civil service verification exercise is taking place and met their death.
 Kaduna state governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai introduced the exercise to provide the state government with accurate and reliable record of its personnel and clean-up it's payroll.‎
‎Confirming the incident to our correspondent, Public Relations Officer, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Kaduna Sector Command, Mansur Isyaku, ‎attributed the cause of the accident to over speeding and loss of control.
 "Two vehicles including a Peugeot J5 and a Volkswagen Golf  where on Saturday, July 4th involved in a head on collusion in Wuroko village, Saminaka local government area of Kaduna state. The victims were taken to the Saminaka general hospital where they were confirmed dead on arrival," he said.

He advised drivers to maintain the stipulated speed limit with a view to reducing road traffic crashes in the state and the country at large.
