“I am here on behalf of the 28 million children who are kept from the classroom because of armed conflict.
“Their courage and dedication to continue their schooling in difficult conditions inspires people around the world and it is our duty to stand by them.
“On this day, I have a message for the leaders of this country, this region and the world: you are failing the Syrian people, especially Syria’s children. This is a heartbreaking tragedy — the world’s worst refugee crisis in decades.”
Malala who now Permanently lives in Britain with her family after an attempt on her life back in October 2012, In her speech in Oslo, said:
"I am turning 18 on the 12th of July and my life of being a child will come to an end.
"But there is something that I have learnt from being a child that I will never forget and would carry on even in my adulthood, that is to dream. In fact to dream big, without limit.
"My message today is very simple to our leaders: be a child for a moment, dream with no limit, and dream bigger, this is the only way you can achieve bigger."
