Benue indigenes under the auspices of the Movement Against Fulani Occupation have dragged the Federal Government before the ECOWAS Court of Justice for alleged complicity and failure to protect lives and property from invading armed herdsmen into farming communities, which has left thousands across the state dead.
This was disclosed today at a peaceful rally to the Benue state house of assembly to present a bill prohibiting free grazing in the state.
Leader of the protest, Rev. Fr. Solomon Ukeyima, while presenting the bill to state legislature, said the herdsmen must leave Benue state since they cannot live peacefully with their host communities
