Did Aisha Buhari Refer To Edo Girls As Prostitutes?...+ Her Statement causing outrage online

The Nigerian social sphere has been taken aback over some comments attributed to wife of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Mrs. Aisha Buhari which drew feedback from Nigerians online near-instantaneously thou mostly from social media.

Outrage came when Mrs Buhari was mistaken to have called the women of Edo state ‘prostitutes’ who said her husband would liberate and tackle the circumstances that warranted their traveling abroad for a better life.

Meanwhile, this was her real speech.
Her words:

“In each zone of the country, we have peculiar problems; our problems differ. For me, in this zone, girl-child trafficking should be considered as one of our problems, though I know that there is unemployment. Unemployment is a major factor that contributes to brain drain and also the girl child trafficking.
