Emeka Ike’s plan to takeover AGN office aborted

Luck was against Emeke Ike as his efforts to storm The National Headquarters of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) at 19 Ajao Road, Surulere in Lagos on Friday, March 20th as some members of the AGN that were there to effect sanity.
Source said an actor simply identified as Tupac, that showed up at the AGN secretariat but was Immediately turned back by some of the Guild's members, present.
Unconfirmed reports also had it that, Emeka Ike allegedly sent members of the Odua People’s Congress, OPC, to facilitate his entry but the men retreated without any fuss, after listening to a superior points by members of AGN present.
The actor who reportedly had loyal thespians and some media people invited had intended to takeover the mantle of leadership from the guild's current President, Fiberisima Ibinabo.
Emeka had wanted to rely on the judgment of a Federal High Court’s nullification of the presidency of Ibinabo to assume the control of the actors body was supposed to have addressed the media, stating his agenda for the association.
Justice James Tsoho of the Federal High Court, Lagos had on Monday, March 15 declared elections into the AGN was a nullity which prompted the BoT and the AGN proceeded to the Court of Appeal in Lagos seeking  reversal of the judgment.

Their argument was that the honourable judge erred in law in holding that the plaintiff, an expelled member of the guild, St. Maradona Mikevine Johnson has the locus to bring the action at the Federal High Court.
