Broke Man suffering from Leukemia decides Cooking himself Alive[photos]

A man suffering from cancer of the blood is literally cooking himself alive over hot coals because he cannot afford expensive hospital treatment.

Broke Jia Binhui has been told that a temperature higher than 42C can kill the cancerous cells in his body so every day he suspends himself like a spit roast above a roaring fire.
The 25-year-old has even built a bizarre barbecue contraption in his backyard in southwest China to help make sure the therapy is carried out evenly.
Binhui, who was diagnosed with blood cancer in 2013, has already undergone a $100,000 bone marrow transplant which was paid for by donations.
But further hospital treatments have used up all his cash and as his family is money strapped, he’s turned to the alternative therapy of roasting himself in an attempt to kill off harmful cells.
“They say experts believe a temperature higher than 42C can kill cancer cells, so I set up a contraption in my backyard to try. Let’s see if it works.”
He collects sawdust and various twigs and branches from nearby farmland, and places them under two wooden poles, which he lies on top of as he slowly cooks himself.

Jia said he burns the wood for several minutes until only hot coals remain, then he suspends himself over the top for as long as he can stand it.
“I’ve been told that it also works in water. But it’s nearly impossible to keep water constantly at 42C, so I’m using this method instead.”
Jia, who recently married his girlfriend of five years, Liu Yuan, said he refuses to give up.
