“I have visited six countries since the election, they are happy Jonathan Was Defeated" - Obasanjo

According to a Punch report, Former President Obasanjo is claiming other African leaders are happy over President Jonathan’s Defeat in the just concluded General Elections

“I have visited six countries since the election, they are as happy about the results. It is good not only for Nigeria, it is good for Africa and I believe it is good for the world.”

He then advised African leaders to learn from democracy being practiced in Nigerian and stop the habit of holding on to power by all means. That for Africa to survive, leaders must demonstrate statesmanship.
