A Bomb blast yesterday rocked a mosque along the popular Yan Kwali area of the Maiduguri Monday Market in Borno State.The explosion was said to have occurred after the first ‘Rakaat’ of the Friday prayer session with eyewitness saying unspecified number of casualties were recorded.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Boko Haram terrorist group is largely suspected.
The attack is coming just few hours after an earlier incidence that claimed at least 11 lives along Gomari Airport Ward of Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital.
