President Jonathan signs new criminal justice bill into law

President Goodluck Jonathan has signed the Administration of Criminal Justice Bill 2015 into law.
The bill sought to, among others things, address the problem of delayed criminal trials.
The bill which was passed by the Senate on May 5 was confirmed Dr. Reuben Abati, in an interview with journalists today thursday,14th may 2015.

Abati said;
“The President has signed the  Administration of Criminal Justice Bill 2015. He signed it the same day he received it from the National Assembly. With that development, the bill is now an Act,” he said.
