Thugs Amputate 62-year-old Traditional Leader In Plateau

Horror in Plateau state as a traditional leader in the state was found dead on Sunday with his limbs amputated.
According to a report on Naij.com the leader who is the Galadima of Saluwe in Wase local government area of Plateau state also works as a security guard in the Wase local government secretariat.
The Galadima, 62-year-old Isiaka Adamu, was lynched by thugs said the Plateau State Youth Council (PSYC) chairman for Wase, Yusuf Mohammed Wase.

The leader was found dead on his farm which is close to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after leaving very early in the morning to go work on the farm. He was later found by neighbouring farmers.
Lamenting the recent violent activites in the state, Wase said, “last Sunday over 300 cattle were stolen around the same axis by some youths. And today the Galadima has been killed. We are becoming impatient with the State government and the STF. These people walk for almost six kilometers just to come and attack us yet we are told not to carry arms to defend ourselves.”

The PSYC chairman in Wase said the violence has been reported to the STF in Wase adding that “right now we are on our way to having a meeting with the Captain in charge of Ford Operation Base, FOB, Wase.” .

Plateau state has been grossly affected by violent activities of late. On Sunday, suspected Muslim herdsmen raided some Christian villages with guns and then burned down homes and churches leaving at least 70 Christians dead in their wake.
