Okada Rider Crushed To Death In Bauchi

A motorcycle rider was crushed to death yesterday in an accident that occurred at the Tambari House Estate junction along Bauchi -Jos road in Bauchi  State.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna Mohammed, said the accident involved a golden coloured Honda Civic vehicle with registration number AA878JMA and driven by 34-year-old Moses John and a red coloured motorcycle with registration number ALK 870 QR.
Mohammed  said the accident occurred when the Honda Civic which was going to Wuntin Dada from Bauchi town rammed into the motorcycle which was coming from the opposite direction.
He said the motorcyclist died on the spot while his passenger, one Mustapha Musa, the driver of Honda Civic and another passenger, Thomas Ishaya, sustained injuries.
He added that the scene of the accident  was visited by the police traffic section attached to the GRA Division and that all the victims were rushed to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital. The police spokesman said the matter was under investigation.
