Ooni of Ife Dies at 85

Oba Sijuwade Okunade, the Ooni of Ife is dead. Family sources said the Ooni died at about 5pm yesterday after a brief illness.

The Oba was reportedly flown to UK in an air ambulance where he gave up the ghost after he becoming unconscious.
Late Sijuwade Okunade is survived by wives and children.
