12 more Filling Stations Sealed in Abuja by DPR

The Department of Petroleum Resources has sealed additional 12 filling stations in Abuja, bringing the number of petrol stations sealed within three weeks to 34.
The department disclosed this in a statement by its Zonal Operations Controller, Abuja, Mr. Mohammed Usman, on Sunday.
According to Usman, 12 filling stations were sealed at the end of the exercise
“A total of 46 filling stations were visited and the exercise indicated availability of PMS in the stations visited with some queues observed,” he said.
“The stations affected are Harry Pet filling station in Gwagwalada, which was sealed for selling petrol at N110 per litre. Drison Oil filling station at Giri was sealed for selling at N100/litre. Ohinoyi Oil in Kwali was sealed for under-dispensing. Gausiya filling station at Giri have one pump sealed for under-dispensing.
“Adelhi Limited filling station at Masaka was sealed for selling fuel at N105/litre. Hariz Pet at Masaka was sealed for selling at N110/litre. Oando Plc at Maraba Aso was sealed for suspected diversion of PMS of about 45,000 litres.
“Mobil at New Nyanya has one pump sealed for under-dispensing. Badeggi Petrol station at Dikko Junction was sealed for selling at N110/litre. Edewa Limited at Kwamba Suleja was sealed for selling at N105/litre. Shemaco filling station, Kwamba Suleja, was sealed for selling PMS at N97/litre; while Dee Jones, Kwamba in Suleja was sealed for selling PMS at N105/litre and for under-dispensing.”
