Adamawa University Recruits 80 Hunters & Vigilante against Boko Haram as it Reopens

Vice Chancellor of the Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, Prof Joshua Shall, today,Thursday, disclosed that the Varsity has recruited over 80 vigilante men and hunters to safeguard the university community as it reopens for academic activities.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof Joshua Shall, disclosed this to newsmen in Mubi on Thursday, just as the institution resumed academic activities.

According to Shall, the institution was aware of the complementary role played by the vigilante groups and hunters assisting the military to recapture Mubi town after it was over ran by insurgents in October 2014,and therefore decided to recruited them to continue with their complementary role.
