Most Nigerian Artistes Will be Raving Mad, in Asylums, or Rehab in the Next 10 years – Ras Kimono

Ras Kimono, Nigeria’s reggae artist has said many Nigerian artists will go into rehabs in the next 10 years.
The Reggae legend, who spoke with the Nation, said drinking and smoking habit among young Nigerian artistes is unspeakable, hence they may just end up in rehabs because it has gotten entirely out of hands.
His words:

“With the rate at which our young entertainers are abusing drugs, and alcohol, many of them will be raving mad, in asylums, or rehab in the next 10 years.
“I never smoked. I never drank alcohol in my over thirty years as a musician.”

“There are a number of reggae musicians who do not abuse drugs, nor drink alcohol, you know,” he quipped.
