Pope Francis Saturday morning left New York City to Philadelphia with several hundreds wishing to catch one last glimpse of the 78-year-old had lined up in the dark before 7 a.m. and endured a lengthy security check to waved him goodbye at John F. Kennedy Airport.
The Pontiff, who suffers from sciatica and a bad knee, stumbled slightly as he walked up the stairs into the waiting American Airlines jet around 9 a.m. He recovered quickly and waved to the crowd with speaking. Pope Francis had been seen limping as he made his way to the plane after a jam-packed visit.
