Oshiomhole Sacks 4 Commissioners

Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole, at Wednesday, State Executive Council meeting terminated the appointments of four commissioners.
He said the decision was in line with his commitment to “strengthen the system towards optimal performance are”.

The affected commissioners are
Lucky James, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs;
Maigida Blessing, Commissioner for Women Affairs;
Patrick Aguinede, Commissioner for Basic Education and;
Chris Ebare, Commissioner for Energy and Water Resources.

They were directed to hand over all government properties in their possession to the permanent secretaries of their respective ministries.

The governor, thanked the commissioners for their services to the state and wished them well in their future endeavours.
