President Buhari Congratulates Bishop Mike Okonkwo At 70

President Muhammadu Buhari today congratulated Bishop Mike Okonkwo, of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) on his 70th birthday.

Hailing the Bishop's life-long commitment to the service of God and humanity through a congratulatory letter Buhari said,

“It gives me immense joy to felicitate with you as you clock the landmark age of 70 years.
“More than four decades of these 70 years have been dedicated to the work of God as a pastor and preacher.
“Our prayer is that God will give you longer life, strength and ability to serve Him for many more years.”
The President wished Okonkwo, members of his family and TREM happy celebrations.
