Abuja Court Grants Sambo Dasuki's Wish to Travel Abroad for Medical Attention

The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has ordered the Department of State Security to allow former NSA, Dasuki Sambo seek medical attention outside of the country as well as vacate his Asokoro residence in Abuja.
Justice Ademola Adeniyi, of a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja yesterday, Friday also ordered the Attorney General to appear before it on Monday November 16th to explain why the court order granting Dasuki permission to travel out for medical attention is being flouted.

The Former National Security Adviser had returned to the court against the Federal government and the department of state service DSS for refusing him enforce his fundamental rights.
Justice Adeniyi Ademola who gave the order on Friday said:
“A Court order must be obeyed,
He also said there was nothing wrong in allowing Mr. Dasuki to travel abroad for medical treatment, saying “only a fit person can stand for trial and investigation. My own orders will not be flouted”.
