A panel of three judges from the Appeal Court presided over by Justice Moshood Oredola-Abdulrahman,sitting in Abuja,Tuesday, December 15 nullified the election of the speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Aniekan Uko.
The court ordered INEC to conduct fresh election in Ibesikpo-Asutan constituency.
The panel also supported the decision of the election tribunal which sat in Abuja to nullify the election of Uko on the basis of electoral violence and malpractices.
