I Didn’t Even Know Railway Transport is Functioning in Nigeria - Rotimi Amaechi

Rotimi Amaechi, the Honourable Minister of Transport while, inspecting the railway system in Lagos yesterday revealed he wasn't aware railway facilities in the country was functioning.

Amaechi stunned by the state of the art rail facilities which was funded by former President Goodluck government while touring the facility with other officials of the ministry in Lagos said;

“In fact, I think we have a problem; most people don’t believe that the railway transport is functioning in Nigeria. I didn’t even know, until I started this tour, I never knew that the railway was functioning, it was even from his (MD’s) speech that I learnt that there are some coaches or services that go to Kano or Port Harcourt or elsewhere.”
