The Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, during the inauguration of the NCIS in Abuja, explained that the Police Force will from January 1, 2016 commence revalidation of firearms licence and vehicle tinted glass permit through it digital platform.
According to him, the NCIS would replace the analogue system which he said was cumbersome and fraught with corrupt practices, noting that the integrity of documents processed were also subject to forgery.
The police boss said:
“In this regard, with effect from January 1, 2016, all holders of tinted permit will be requested to re-validate their licence. Similarly, with effect from January 1, 2016, application for character certificates must be processed through the electronic platform of the Nigeria Police Force Central Information System.
“There will be a three-month window for the revalidation of the firearms license and the tinted permit. Consequently, with effect from March 18, 2016, the current firearms license and tinted permit will become invalid and holder may be liable to arrest and prosecution.”

The other day, while I was at work, my sister stole my iPad and tested to see if it
can survive a thirty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views.
I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
