Music icon, Sir Elton John has been sued for sexual harassment by his former bodyguard, Jeffrey Wenninger who claims the singer subjected him to a barrage of "unwelcome" and intimate touching and lurid suggestions over several years.
Jeffrey Wenninger alleges that Sir Elton tried to grab his genitals, pulled his nipples and told him that he had "so many gay genes", in court documents lodged in Los Angeles. The documents claim he was a victim of sexual harassment and battery.
The alleged incidents, which are said to have occurred multiple times, have been dismissed by the singer's lawyers as a "baseless lawsuit brought by a disgruntled former security officer seeking to extract an undeserved payment".
Wenninger, who stopped working for Sir Elton in September 2014 after 12 years as his bodyguard, gives specific times and places for some of the episodes.
In one instance, on March 27, 2014, as they were travelling in a car from the singer's Los Angeles house to Van Nuys airport, Sir Elton is said to have put his hand down the bodyguard's trousers, according to the court documents.
Sir Elton then told him to "get your todger out" and "say hello to Uncle Elton", the documents add.
Just over two weeks later, on April 12, en route from the airport to Sir Elton's house, the singer allegedly engaged in more "unwelcome and offensive" touching by putting his hands down Menninger's shirt and twisting his nipples.
He reportedly told the guard "you gorgeous thing, you" and tried to stick his fingers in his ear. He is also alleged to have told him: "You have so many gay genes in you. They just haven't met up yet."
Orin Snyder, a lawyer for Rocket Entertainment Group, Sir Elton's record company, strenuously denied the allegations and said they would be contested.

Meanwhile fashion designer, Stefano Gabbana has taunted his old foe, John who is facing charges of sexual harassment.
The pair fell out spectacularly last year after Stefano and his business partner Domenico Dolce claimed Elton John’s two sons Zachary, five, and Elijah, three were ‘synthetic’ because they had been conceived through IVF treatment.
The co-founder of fashion label Dolce & Gabbana, took to social media after learning that Sir Elton has been accused of ‘grabbing the genitals’ of his former bodyguard; Posting a screenshot of the headline from an Italian website, he wrote:
‘And now??? Karma if ever it were true. What will he tell his son?’
