The official car transporting President, Paul Biya of Cameroon to the 20th May celebration broke down just a few minutes into the Boulevard in Yaounde.
The president was left with no option but to change to another vehicle on the spot with soldiers of the Presidential Guards spotted pushing the Presidential open top vintage limousine a few minutes later.
Paul Biya was heading to the 20th May Boulevard to preside over celebrations marking the 44th Anniversary of Cameroon’s National Day.
According to reports, Wife of the President, Mrs Chantal Biya was absent from the National day celebration which she has hardly been absent. A day many critics of the Yaounde regime especially West of the Mungo, consider as unfounded.
