The Inspector-General of Police IGP Solomon E. Arase fdc, NPM, on Wednesday 15th June, 2016 commissioned the newly completed Nigeria Police Forensic Laboratory and Digital Resource Centre at the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID), Abuja.
The facility, will house technologies for identification of crime suspects through features like the Iris and facial recognition, possible identification marks, multiple and extended finger prints, among others, are aimed at hunting down hoodlums, armed robbers, kidnappers, and others.
