Tyler Perry throws lavish Christening celebration for newborn son names Oprah Godmother

The 45-year-old rounded up his friends for a lavish Christening at his picturesque Beverly Hills home on Sunday.

With Oprah Winfrey, Cicely Tyson, and Oliver Ripley named as Godparents.

The festivities began with a ceremony inside his home's very own chapel, which he revealed on Facebook was 'almost a direct replica of the one my Mother grew up in.'

Outside the modest chapel, guests mingled beside Tyler's festively decorated pool, which was lined with bouquets of fresh white flowers.

A display of giant toy blocks spelling out Aman's name were perched at the end of Tyler's glistening pool.

Other stars to have dropped by for Aman's bash included Gayle King and Jennifer Hudson, who performed alongside Yolanda Adams that day.

The "I Can Do Bad All By Myself" director gushed about the festivities on Facebook: 'What a special day. Thank you Oprah, Oliver, and Cicely. I know my son has great Godparents. To be born in love is a beautiful thing.'

AMAN was born on November 30 by Tyler's model girlfriend Gelila Bekele.

#Hmmmm He's less than three months old, but Perry's newborn son is already getting the star treatment.
