Former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode is to remain in custody as the Economic and Financial crimes Commission, EFCC, today reportedly secured a remand warrant to keep him.
The former director for the re-election of former president Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation, will now be in the Agency's custody beyond the stipulated time allowed by law. Vanguard reports this is to enable operatives of the commission to conduct proper investigation into how he got the money, what it was used for and who the beneficiaries were.
Fani-Kayode was detained Monday 9th May 2016
