Breaking: EFCC Freezes Gov. Fayose’s Account

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) has allegedly frozen the Zenith bank account of the Ekiti State,governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose. Governor Fayose who spoke on the development said he issued a counter cheque only to be told his personal account had been Frozen by the anti-graft agency.
The governor’s personal account in the Zenith Bank, Ekiti branch, was allegedly frozen on the order of the anti-graft agency, according to a source in the bank.

Even Market Women in Bodija Have Jewelry - Diezani Reacts To Al Jazeera Report

Al Jazeera earlier today released a video report that a house worth over $18million and allegedly owned by former minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke had been seized by the EFCC in Abuja. They also claimed that jewelry worth millions of dollars belonging to the former Minister of Petroleum was also seized. Mrs Madueke reacting to the report which has since gone viral said she's being demonized and that the report represented 'everything ridiculous and despicable about professional media practice and global best practices.

According to the EFCC, the house above allegedly belongs to the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke. The house is said to be, located in the Asokoro Area of Abuja with it furnishings worth over $2million.

EFCC Storms Femi Fani-Kayode’s House Without A Search Warrant

 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has again invaded the residence of the former minister of aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode who is still in the commission custody.
Jude Ndukwe, the Special Assistant to the former spokesperson of the Goodluck Jonathan campaign organization disclosed in a statement.

An invitation he promised to honour but it looks like operatives of the commission have already surrounded the former minister's compound.

Jonathan May be Arrested Before May 29 - EFCC

According to new reports, former President Goodluck Jonathan could be apprehended by the EFCC over several corruption allegations linked to him and his administration.
The source according to ReportsAfrique disclosed that the arrest of the Managing Director of Kakatar Engineering and Construction Company Limited, Mr. Azibao­la Robert, whom the official described as “closest kinsman of former president Jonathan two weeks ago,” was a clear indication that “we are inching close to making former President Jonathan our guest.”
