A Federal High Court in Lagos today granted Femi Fani-Kayode bail in the sum of N250m.
The former Minister of Aviation has been in custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged fraud of over N4.9bn.
Part of the bail conditions requires him to provide two sureties in like sum who must be owners of landed properties within the court’s jurisdiction
Justice Muslim Hassan also ordered he deposit his passport in the custody of the court pending the outcome of the case.
